Is This New Study on ACV Gummies Legit or Just Hype?
Hey all, I just came across this study (PMID: 38472910) that says apple cider vinegar gummies can help with blood sugar control and weight management. Sounds too good to be true? I'm always skeptical of these supplement studies because they can be biased. What do you all think?
I hear you, Frank. I'm a mom and I've seen too many fads come and go. My rule of thumb: check who funded the study. Was it a supplement company? Also, look at the sample size and whether it was peer-reviewed. A single study isn't enough. My hubby tried ACV gummies once, didn't do squat for his blood sugar.
I've been making my own ACV gummies for years. Honestly, the real benefits come from the vinegar itself, but the gummies are convenient. That study might be legit, but I'd rather use real ACV in my smoothies. Plus, you can control the ingredients. Gummies often have added sugar, which defeats the purpose.
oh I love ACV gummies! I've been taking them for 6 months and my digestion is amazing! I saw that study too, it gave me more confidence. But I always look for brands that have the 'mother' in them and no artificial junk. I trust my body more than any study, lol. But it's good to see science backing it up!
Thanks guys, that helps! I'll check for those red flags. Zoe, what brand do you use? I might give it a try. And Pete, maybe I should look into DIY - sounds like you know your stuff.
