My kid thinks ACV gummies are candy... help!

So my 6-year-old found my bottle of apple cider vinegar gummies and I caught him chewing on them like they were gummy bears. He said they taste like 'sour apples' and wanted more! I know they're not toxic, but I'm worried about him eating too many. Any advice on kid-proofing? Also, does anyone else's kids do this?

Haha, that's classic! My little sister used to do that with my vitamins. We had to put them in a high cabinet. These gummies are potent though - too much could cause stomach upset or digestive issues. I'd keep them way out of reach. Maybe even lock them up if your kid is a climber.

Honestly, I'm a bit skeptical about these gummies anyway. But if your kid is eating them like candy, that's a sign they're too sweet. You might want to try the liquid ACV or tablets instead, but those are worse tasting. Either way, hide them better.

I feel your pain! My husband once ate a whole bag of my elderberry gummies thinking they were fruit snacks. Now we have separate candy bowls - one for 'real' candy and one for supplements. Labels help too. Maybe put a bright sticker on the bottle saying 'NOT CANDY'?

Thanks for the tips! I'm going to move them to a high shelf and put a child-proof cap on if possible. Also, I might try making my own ACV gummies with less sugar so they don't appeal as much. Or just take them when he's not around!
