Hey everyone! I've been taking these ashwagandha gummies for a couple months now. I noticed they've become really hard and kind of whiteish on the outside. Some are even stuck together. Not sure if they're still safe to eat? Anyone else experience this?

Honestly, I'm not a big fan of gummy supplements in general. But from what I've read, that's likely just sugar blooming or crystallization. It happens when moisture gets in or temp changes. It's not ideal, but usually still safe. However, if they're super hard, they might've lost potency. I'd err on the side of caution and maybe toss 'em.

I've had that happen with other gummies! It's usually just sugar. But to be safe, check if they have any weird smell or taste. If they seem okay, they're probably fine. Also, maybe store them in a cooler place next time. I keep mine in the fridge during summer. But yeah, your body can still absorb the ashwagandha, just might be less effective.

I'm a minimalist, so I avoid gummies and go for capsules or powder. But from what I know, sugar bloom is common and not harmful. If they taste okay, they're fine. But if they're really hard, they might be less pleasant to chew. You could also just cut them up or crush them and put in a smoothie. But I'd check the expiration date too.
