Hey everyone! I've been taking ashwagandha gummies for a few weeks now (the ones from XYZ brand) and I love the calming effect. But I'm a coffee addict and I usually have my morning coffee right before my gummy. Is it safe to take them together? I've heard conflicting stuff. Any thoughts?

Oh honey, I've been there! My doctor told me to be careful with combining supplements. Ashwagandha can lower stress, but coffee is a stimulant, so they might work against each other. I'd suggest spacing them out - maybe have your coffee first, wait an hour, then take the gummy. Better safe than sorry, especially with your heart! I take mine after lunch now, and I feel fine.

Honestly, I think it's fine. I've combined ashwagandha with pre-workout (which has a ton of caffeine) and didn't have any issues. But everyone's different. The real question is: are you taking it for anxiety or energy? Coffee might mask the calming effect if you're looking for that. Also, check if your gummy has any other ingredients that might interact. I'd say try it and see how you feel, but maybe start with a lower dose of coffee.

I'm all about minimalism, so I only take what I need. Ashwagandha is great for stress, but if you're pounding coffee, you're just fighting yourself. I cut out caffeine entirely, and my anxiety went down naturally. If you insist on coffee, I'd take the gummy at night instead. But hey, to each their own. Just listen to your body.
