Ashwagandha Gummies turning weird - still good?
Hey all, I’ve been taking these ashwagandha gummies for about a month. Noticed a few days ago they got kinda hard and there’s a white sugary film on some. They also stick together a bit. Are they still safe to eat? I really don’t want to waste a bottle, but also don’t wanna get sick.
Ugh, I’ve had that happen with a different brand! Usually it’s just sugar bloom from temperature changes. If they don’t smell funky or have mold they’re probably fine. Try tossing them in a ziplock with a silica packet to absorb moisture.
I’m with Flora. I travel a lot and my gummies melt or get hard all the time. If the seal’s intact and they’re not expired, I still eat them. The texture might be off but potency should be okay. Maybe store them in the fridge?
I’ve eaten gummies that were basically rocks after I left them in a hot car. No issues. As long as it’s not moldy, you’re good. But if you’re worried, just get a new bottle. Not worth the anxiety lol.
Thanks guys. No mold, smell is still herbal. I’ll try the silica packet trick. Appreciate the quick replies!
