Hey yall! So my dad is turning 65 and he's been stressed about retirement and my best friend is a fitness nut who never sleeps enough. I wanted to get them a 'health pack' with ashwagandha gummies. Any recommendations? Which brands are good for older folks vs. athletes? Also, are there any side effects I should worry about?

Honestly, I'm skeptical about all these gummy supplements. But my mom tried ashwagandha gummies from a brand called 'ZenBears' and said they helped her sleep. For your dad, maybe that? For your friend, I doubt it'll do much for gym gains. Make sure they're not loaded with sugar. Check the label.

Ooh, I make my own gummies at home with ashwagandha powder, but that's not helpful for gifting lol. If you want a quality brand, I like 'Goli' - they have ashwagandha gummies with vitamin D. My husband takes them and says he feels more chill. For an older parent, maybe go with a lower dose. But def check for interactions with meds, my dad is on blood pressure meds and ashwagandha might lower BP too much. Maybe ask the doc?

As a wellness influencer (but not a doc lol), I recommend 'Moon Juice' or 'Olly' for a higher-end gift. They have ashwagandha + other adaptogens. For fitness-obsessed friend, look for ones with extra electrolytes or added B12. For older folk, I'd get a gentle formula. Also, gummies can be easy to overeat so check serving size. And remind them to take with food to avoid stomach upset.
