Help! My kid thinks our Ashwagandha gummies are candy!

So I bought these Ashwagandha gummies for me and my wife to help with stress, but my 5-year-old found the bottle and thought they were fruit snacks. He ate like 5 before I caught him. I freaked out but he was fine, just a bit sleepy. Anyone else have this problem? Should I hide them better or switch to pills?

Oh man, that's hilarious but also scary! My kid did the same with my elderberry gummies. Now I keep them in a locked cabinet. Ashwagandha is generally safe in small doses, but definitely keep them out of reach. Maybe get a child-proof bottle? Or try capsules, but I hate swallowing those.

Happens all the time! Ashwagandha gummies are tasty! But seriously, treat them like any supplement - locked away. Also, if your kid refuses to eat them because of texture, try dissolving a gummy in warm tea or smoothie. Works for my picky eater.

My husband did this once - thought they were just regular gummy bears. He ate half the bottle and then complained about being "weirdly calm" all day. Now I hide them behind the oatmeal. 😂 But seriously, you can also get the powder form and mix it into their food if they need it. Just don't tell them!
