Hey everyone! I've been taking Ashwagandha gummies for about a month now to help with stress (they're the berry flavored ones from Nature's Way). I usually take them in the morning with my coffee. But my friend just gave me some magnesium gummies and said I should try them too for better sleep. Is it cool to take both? Like, one in the AM and one at night? Or should I space them out more? Don't wanna overdo it lol.

Hi OP! Retired RN here. Generally, ashwagandha and magnesium are considered safe together, but timing matters. Ashwagandha can be stimulating for some people, so taking it in the morning makes sense. Magnesium is often used as a relaxant. Taking them at opposite times like you're thinking is reasonable. However, always check the dosages on both products and consider starting with one at a time to see how your body reacts. If you have any kidney issues or take blood pressure meds, consult your doctor first. Stay safe!

omg i feel this! i take ashwagandha gummies too (the olly stress ones) and i'm always chugging coffee to get through my 9-5. i added a zinc gummy last month and tbh i didn't notice any issues? but i take the ashwa in the morning with breakfast and the zinc at lunch. maybe try the magnesium at night like your friend said? i'd just watch for any weird drowsiness during the day if you take them too close together. busy life = need all the help we can get haha

Namaste! Yoga instructor here. I love ashwagandha gummies for grounding my practice. I pair mine with turmeric gummies for inflammation—both in the morning after meditation. From an Ayurvedic perspective, ashwagandha is balancing, and magnesium supports relaxation, so your plan sounds harmonious. Just listen to your body's wisdom! Maybe start the magnesium every other night to ease in. Peace and good health!

Fitness pro chiming in. I take ashwagandha gummies post-workout for recovery and have used magnesium glycinate (not gummy form) at night for muscle cramps. They're a solid combo for active folks. Just ensure you're not exceeding daily limits—some gummies have added sugars or fillers. Check labels and maybe opt for clean brands. If you feel any GI upset or fatigue, adjust timing. Stay fueled!
