My kid thought Ashwagandha gummies were candy and now won't touch them – help!

LOL typical kid move! My nephew did the same with my vegan omega-3 gummies. Honestly, it's a sign that the gummy industry needs to stop making everything look like candy. Maybe try a powdered form? Ashwagandha powder mixed into a smoothie might be less tempting.

Oh man, I feel your pain! My wife once ate half a bottle of my melatonin gummies thinking they were sour worms. She said the texture was 'off' but she powered through lol. For ashwagandha, I've found that the gummy texture varies a lot by brand. Maybe look for a brand with a softer, more 'gummy bear' texture if they're refusing the chalky ones?

I have to say, this is exactly why I avoid gummy supplements altogether. The sugar and artificial flavors are terrible. Have you considered a tincture or capsules? My kids actually prefer capsules because they're quick and no weird texture. But if you're set on gummies, look for ones sweetened with stevia or monk fruit.

@OrganicOlivia969 Good point about the sugar. Most gummy brands are loaded with corn syrup. I'm all for the tincture route – we mix ashwagandha tincture into our morning tea. The taste is earthy but you get used to it. Plus, no candy confusion!
