Just read this study (PMID: 34567890) on ashwagandha for stress. It says the gummies work as well as pills. But it was funded by a supplement co. Think it's legit or biased? I've been paleo for years and only do natural stuff, so I'm skeptical.

I've seen similar studies. As a retired nurse, I'm always cautious with industry-funded research. But ashwagandha has some solid evidence behind it. The gummies might be more about convenience than efficacy. Zack, have you tried the tincture or powder before? That's what I'd recommend if you want to avoid processing.

I travel a lot for work, so gummies are super convenient. I don't have time to make tea or carry powders. The study looked okay to me – not perfect, but most are flawed. I'd say try them for a month and see if you feel less stressed. That's what I did and it helped.

Industry funding definitely casts doubt, but ashwagandha is an adaptogen with centuries of use. The study's methodology matters more. Did they control for diet, sleep, etc.? For me, I always check if the study is peer-reviewed and if the dose matches traditional use. Gummies often have low doses. Maybe try a reputable brand with 3rd party testing.

Good points, all. I think I'll stick with my paleo-friendly root powder for now. But if anyone finds a clean, low-sugar gummy, let me know. Thanks!
