Hey everyone! I'm about to go on a 12-hour flight and then a week of hiking. I love my ashwagandha gummies for stress, but I'm worried they'll melt in my carry-on or get flagged by TSA. Anyone have experience traveling with these? Do they hold up in heat? And what's the deal with TSA and gummy supplements? Also, any storage tips for keeping them fresh on the trail? Thanks!

I travel a lot for work (night shifts mess with my sleep, so ashwagandha is a must). I always pack my gummies in a small, insulated bag with an ice pack. TSA has never given me trouble – just keep them in the original bottle or a labeled baggie. They might get a little soft in hot climates, but they don't fully melt unless it's like 100°F+ for hours. For hiking, I'd suggest a hard plastic container to prevent squishing. Safe travels!

Honestly, I’m skeptical about gummies surviving travel. I’ve had some turn into a sticky mess just in my purse on a hot day. But if you’re set on taking them, maybe try a cooling pack and keep them in your personal item, not checked luggage. Also, I’ve heard TSA can be picky about 'gel-like' substances, but supplements seem to slide through. Let us know how it goes!

I’m new to ashwagandha (and meditation!) and haven’t traveled with gummies yet, but I read that those silica gel packets (like from shoeboxes) can help absorb moisture. Maybe toss one in your gummy container? For TSA, I think as long as they’re in solid form and under 3.4oz for liquids (which gummies aren’t), you’re fine. Hope they help with your stress on the trail!

Great tips everyone! I’ll definitely try the insulated bag with an ice pack. I’m also going to bring a small, hard plastic case just in case. I'll report back after my trip. Thanks for the advice – you guys are awesome!
