Anyone else get weird vivid dreams from B12?

I've been taking a B12 gummy every morning for a week (for energy, you know), and I've started having these super vivid, strange dreams at night. Not scary, just... weird. Also, my pee is like neon yellow! Is this normal? Anyone else experience this?

Haha, the neon pee is classic! That's just excess B12 leaving your body, no worries. The dreams though... I totally get that. I take B12 for my long hikes, and when I up my dose, my dreams get wild. Kinda cool actually, like I'm in a movie. You're not alone!

I don't dream much, but my taste buds went haywire for a bit when I started. Food tasted metallic for a week. Weird, but it passed. I think it's just your body adjusting. If it doesn't go away, maybe check with a doc, but likely fine.

From a med student perspective: vivid dreams and bright urine are not harmful. The bright urine is just excess riboflavin (B2) in the gummies. The dreams might be due to B12 affecting melatonin or just your brain's chemistry. If it bothers you, you can try taking it earlier in the day. But yeah, totally harmless. Enjoy the show!

Thanks everyone! I feel better knowing it's just my body adjusting. I'll try taking it in the morning and see if the dreams calm down. Appreciate the replies!
