Hey y'all! I'm trying to get a health pack together as a gift. I have two people I'm shopping for: my 68-year old dad who complains about being tired all the time, and my buddy who is OBSESSED with the gym and always says he needs more energy. Would B12 gummies be good for either/both? Any brands you'd rec? I don't want anything artificial if possible. Thx!

Hii! 📸 For your dad, defo B12! Especially if he's vegetarian or vegan? My mom had low energy and her doc said B12 helps with that. For your gym friend, maybe a combo with B12 and caffeine? I know some gummies have green tea extract. Just check the dose, don't want them bouncing off walls lol. For natural, look for methylcobalamin instead of cyanocobalamin. I use 'Sunny Gummies' brand, they're plant-based!

YO! As a caffeine junkie myself, tell your friend to get B12 gummies with guarana or coffee fruit extract. I need that kick for my 3am coding sessions. But for your dad? Maybe a B-complex gummy that includes B12? Those usually have a smoother energy, not jittery. I'd avoid any 'energy blend' for seniors. Oh, and check the sugar content! Some gummies are basically candy.

Night shifter here, so I feel the energy struggle. I'd say B12 is solid for both. For your dad, the sustained release kind might be better so he doesn't get a crash. For the gym bro, look for one with added B6 and B12 - that combo helps with muscle recovery too. I get mine from 'Vital Vault' - they have a 'Energy Complex' gummy that works great. Just a heads up, some B12 gummies taste like medicine, so maybe get a fruity flavor if he's picky.

Ooh, taste matters!! What's the point if they taste like chalk? For your dad, try 'Berry Bliss B12' - they're like raspberry candies. For your gym friend, 'Citrus Burst' has a nice zing. Both are from the 'Tasty Wellness' brand. They use natural flavors and no weird aftertaste. And yeah, B12 is a good choice, but if your friend drinks energy drinks already, he might not need extra caffeine in gummies. Just saying.
