Hey everyone! I've been taking my B12 gummy every morning, but I also like to have a cup of coffee shortly after. I've heard that caffeine might interfere with B12 absorption. Anyone know if it's safe to take them together, or should I wait a bit? Thanks!

I've read somewhere that coffee can reduce absorption of some vitamins, but for B12 it's not a huge issue. I usually take my gummy with breakfast and then have coffee like an hour later. Seems fine to me, but I'm not a doc. Maybe just space them out if you're worried.

I actually track my supplement timing with an app. It says that B12 is water-soluble, so it's probably okay, but caffeine can increase urination, which might flush it out faster. I take my gummy with food and skip coffee for 30 mins. Better safe than sorry, right?

Thanks for the replies! I'll try waiting a bit after my gummy before coffee. Also, do you think it's okay to take a vitamin D gummy at the same time? I take both in the morning.

Oh yeah, I take D and B12 together all the time. They don't compete. Actually, D is fat-soluble so better with a meal. But you should be fine. Just keep the coffee separate if you're concerned.
