Hey all, just saw this interesting article and wanted to share: "The No. 1 Healthiest Meat With the Most Protein and Least Fat, According to a Dietitian" Summary: With a growing emphasis on high-protein diets for muscle maintenance, weight management, and overall wellness... What do you guys think? Does this change how we should think about B12 supplements if we're eating meat?

lol another meat industry puff piece. They always ignore the studies showing plant-based proteins are just as effective without the saturated fat. And B12? Most meat-eaters are still deficient because modern farming depletes it. My doc said my levels were low even when I ate meat daily. These gummy supplements are just expensive candy - eat fortified foods instead.

Oh dear, my grandson sent me this article too! He's always pushing protein shakes. But at my age, I worry about digestion with too much meat. My B12 gummies (the cherry ones!) have been a lifesaver since my doctor said absorption decreases as we get older. The article might be good for young people, but what about us seniors who need gentle options?

FINALLY some sense! High-protein meat is keto-friendly and perfect for metabolic health. B12 supplements are backup for when you're fasting or if you have absorption issues (which many do). The article probably mentions lean cuts like bison or venison - those are premium B12 sources. But honestly, most people should just eat nose-to-tail and skip the gummies entirely.
