My kid thinks the B12 gummies are candy and won't stop sneaking them!
OMG, I came home today and found my 5-year-old hiding under the table with the bottle of B12 gummies. He had eaten like 6! I freaked out, but then realized they're just vitamins. Still scary tho! Anyone else have this issue? How do you keep them out of reach?
Haha that's adorable but also a bit nerve-wracking! My husband did the same thing last week, he thought they were candy and ate a handful before I caught him. They do taste pretty good 😂. But yeah, I keep ours in a locked cabinet now. Better safe than sorry!
Actually, B12 is water-soluble so excess is excreted, but still not great to overdo it. Some signs of too much can be mild like dizziness or anxiety. Glad your kid's okay! I use a weekly alarm on my phone to remind me to take mine, and keep the bottle in a high cupboard.
@AlphaAdam Good to know it's not super dangerous! I'll still hide them better. My kid is now obsessed with "healthy candy" and asks for them all the time lol. Maybe I'll switch to a different form that looks less appealing...
😂 My hubby still tries to sneak them. I told him they're not candy but he says "they're basically candy with benefits!" Whatever works, I guess! But yeah, storing out of sight is key.
