Headed to the tropics for a week - can I bring my B12 gummies? I'm worried they'll melt in the heat, and also what about TSA? Anyone have experience?

I've taken gummies on flights before, no issues with TSA. But for melting, I'd wrap them in a ziplock and maybe put them in a cooler with an ice pack if you're hiking. Once they melt, they get sticky but still work, just not as nice to eat. Safe travels!

I'm a retired nurse, so I've seen it all. Gummies can soften, but they usually don't fully melt unless it's really hot. For TSA, they're fine as long as they're solid - I'd keep them in original packaging. For hiking, maybe transfer to a small pill container and keep in a shaded pocket. Better yet, consider a B12 sublingual or patch for trips - no melt worry.

I've carried them in my carry-on many times. To prevent melting, I put the bottle in a small insulated lunch bag with a frozen gel pack - that works for hours. Also, if they get squished, they still taste fine, just ugly. Enjoy your trip!
