Hey everyone! I'm heading on a week-long hiking trip and want to bring my B12 gummies, but I'm worried they'll melt in my backpack. Plus, do I need to worry about TSA rules if I'm flying? Any tips for keeping them solid and safe?

I've taken gummies on many flights and hikes. They don't melt as easily as you'd think, but to be safe, keep them in a cool place like a ziplock with a damp paper towel (not touching) or in a small cooler if you have one. TSA is fine with gummies, just keep them in your carry-on. I usually put them in a separate bag for easy inspection.

If you're worried about melting, you could switch to a B12 spray or sublingual tablets for the trip. But if you're set on gummies, consider putting them in a small, insulated container. On my road trips, I stash them in the glove compartment or a bag that stays in the AC. They've never turned into a blob.

I've taken gummies on camping trips and they got a bit soft in the heat, but still edible. I just popped the whole container in the cooler with my drinks. For TSA, no issues—just don't have a huge amount that looks suspicious. Also, check the ingredients; some have a higher melting point. Just don't leave them in direct sunlight. Happy hiking!
