Okay so I've been taking these Beauty Gummies for my hair and nails and they taste AMAZING. But then I actually read the label and saw 5g of sugar per serving! That's like eating candy! I'm trying to be healthy here, not sabotage my diet. Is it just me or are these things basically sugar pills? I'm thinking of switching to pills but I hate swallowing them. What do you all think?

SweetToothSue, you're spot on! These 'gummies' are nothing but candy with a few vitamins sprinkled in. The sugar and artificial junk outweigh any benefits. I've been in holistic health for 20 years and always recommend whole food-based supplements or tinctures. Your body deserves pure nutrients, not processed sugar. Ditch the gummies and get a high-quality liquid supplement. Your liver will thank you!

gummies are the epitome of convenience culture. But yeah 5g of sugar is no joke. I'm vegan so I have to watch out for gelatin (gross). I found some organic gummies that use fruit juice and no added sugar, but they cost more. Still, if you're vegan, make sure they use pectin not gelatin. And honestly, pills aren't that bad once you get used to them. Just drink a glass of water and toss it back.

I see it differently. I'm a gym rat and I NEED my supplements. Gummies are the only way I can remember to take my vitamins 'cause they taste good. I know there's sugar but I count it in my macros. I just skip a piece of fruit or something. If you're worried about sugar, look for sugar-free gummies or take them with a meal that's low carb. Balance is key. But yeah, they're basically candy with benefits.

I think the real issue is that people are eating them like candy - popping a handful when they're bored. The serving size is usually 2 gummies, but who stops at 2? I'm a fitness pro and I recommend supplements based on actual deficiencies, not fads. If you need specific vitamins, get capsules. If you're just doing it for the aesthetic, maybe invest in a good diet first. Gummies are overpriced candy. #SorryNotSorry
