Are Biotin Gummies Just Candy in Disguise?

I don't get the hype over these biotin gummies. They're basically candy with a sprinkle of vitamins. All that sugar can't be good for you, esp if you're trying to stay in ketosis. Why not just take a pill? Less sugar, more effective.

I have to agree. I tried them for a month and my blood sugar spiked. Not worth it for hair & nails. I switched to a liquid biotin. Zero carbs, zero sugar. Convenience is not worth the metabolic damage.

I mean, I get it, but for a lot of people, gummies are the only way they'll remember to take supplements. Not everyone is as disciplined as us keto folk. But yeah, the sugar is ridiculous. 4g per serving? Might as well eat a cookie.

That's the problem. 'Only way they'll remember' – it's basically training people to rely on candy to get nutrients. And what about kids? They think it's candy and overdo it. I'd rather see a push for sugar-free options or better education.

Agreed. There are sugar-free gummies out there, but most are still full of maltitol or other nasty sweeteners. I wish they'd just use stevia. But big supplement companies love that cheap sugar. It's all about profit, not health.
