Biotin gummies changed color - safe?

Hey all, I just opened a new bottle of biotin gummies and they look... off. They were pink before, now they're more of a pale brown, and they've gotten really hard. Some are sticking together too. Is this normal? Are they safe to eat? I don't want to waste them but also don't want to get sick.

I've been taking gummy vitamins for 10 years. This is usually just sugar bloom or oxidation, doesn't mean they're bad. But if they're hard, they might have lost moisture. I'd still eat them, just chew well. They won't hurt you.

Mine did that once. I found that storing them in a cool, dark place helps. But if they're hard, they might be past their best. I'd chuck them to be safe, but that's just me. Better to buy fresh.

Color change and hardness could indicate degradation. I wouldn't risk it, especially for a supplement. The ingredients might not be as effective. I'd contact the manufacturer. They might send a replacement.

I've seen that before. The gummies are probably still safe, but the texture change suggests they've been exposed to heat or air. You can revive them by putting a damp paper towel in the bottle for a few hours. But if they smell off, toss them.
