Help! My kid thinks the Biotin gummies are candy!
So my 7-year-old found my bottle of biotin gummies and now every morning he asks for his “vitamin candy.” I’m trying to explain they’re for adults, but he’s relentless. Anyone else dealt with this? Also, I keep them on a high shelf now, but I worry he’ll figure out the step stool.
Oh man, my husband did the same thing! He ate like 5 of my gummy vitamins in one sitting thinking they were candy. Now I hide them in my nightstand. For your kid, maybe try the gummy texture thing—some kids hate the sticky feel. Mine won't touch them because they’re “slimy.”
I feel ya. My wife accidentally gave our toddler a biotin gummy instead of her usual chewable. Now the kid refuses the regular ones because they’re not “sweet.” We switched to a different brand with a less candy-like shape, but it’s tough. Maybe try keeping them in an opaque container?
Thanks, guys! I’ll try the opaque container trick. And Holly, my kid actually loves the texture—he says they’re “chewy like fruit snacks.” Maybe I should just buy him his own gummy vitamins for kids to avoid confusion.
