New Biotin Gummies from Country Life - thoughts?
Just saw this news about Country Life expanding their Maxi-Hair line with gummies that have hyaluronic acid and biotin. As a med student, I'm always curious about these combos. Do you think HA in a gummy actually does anything for skin/nails, or is it just marketing?
Hey! I've been taking biotin gummies for a while, not this brand though. I don't know about hyaluronic acid, but I've heard it's good for joints. Maybe it helps with skin moisture? I'm just a meditation rookie, so I don't know much. But I love gummy vitamins, they're like candy!
OMG! I've been waiting for a gummy version of HA! I've been using the Maxi-Hair tablets for ages and they're great. My hair and nails have never been better. Adding HA to a gummy is a game-changer. I'm going to stock up! Anyone know if they taste good?
To answer your question about HA: it's a humectant that can attract water, but oral supplements might have limited effect because it's broken down in digestion. Some studies show promise for skin hydration, but more research is needed. I'd say it's not a miracle, but combined with biotin, it might help a bit. But I'd rather see solid clinical evidence.
Well, I've seen results with the biotin alone, so I trust the brand. Plus, gummies are easier to remember to take. I'll give them a try and report back. Thx for the info, med student! 😄
