Just saw this: Country Life expanding their Maxi-Hair line with new skin & nails gummies that include hyaluronic acid + biotin. Anyone tried the old ones? This sounds promising for hair growth but idk about the HA in gummies. Also, gummies are so hard to find without sugar alcohols (I get bloated). Thoughts?

Interesting. The Maxi-Hair line has been around for years and has decent reviews. Adding hyaluronic acid makes sense for skin hydration, but bioavailability from a gummy is questionable. They'd need to use a low molecular weight HA for absorption. Biotin dose is probably standard 5000mcg. I'll wait for third-party testing before recommending.

As a med student, I'm always skeptical of 'beauty from within' supplements. Biotin is water-soluble so excess is peed out, but it can help if you're deficient. HA is better applied topically IMHO – oral HA has mixed evidence. But if it makes people feel good, placebo is real. Just don't expect miracle. Also, check the sugar content! Gummies are often loaded.

Gummies taste good, that's my main concern. LOL. But seriously, I've taken biotin gummies before and they did nothing for my hair. Maybe the combo with HA might work better? I'll keep an eye on reviews. Also, Country Life is a solid brand, no shady stuff usually.
