Hey everyone! I'm planning a trip that involves flying, a road trip, and some hiking. I take biotin gummies daily and don't want to miss them. But I'm worried - do these things melt in heat? Also, what's the deal with TSA - can I just toss them in my carry-on? Any storage tips for keeping them fresh on the go? Thanks!

As a digital nomad who's flown with gummies across 15+ countries, here's my take: TSA doesn't care about vitamins in carry-ons - I've never had mine checked. BUT they can totally melt! Left mine in a hot car once and they turned into a sticky blob. Pro tip: keep them in the original bottle (shows ingredients if questioned) and store in a cool bag or with your toiletries away from direct sun. On hikes, I use a small insulated pouch.

omg YES they melt and it ruins the texture! I made the mistake of leaving my berry-flavored biotin gummies in my beach bag last summer - came back to a gummy puddle 🤢 Taste was off too. For travel, I double-bag them in ziplocks (prevents stickiness) and keep them with my snacks. TSA has never stopped me, but I always put them in clear bags just in case. Road trip hack: cooler section!

Fitness pro here - consistency matters for supplement routines! TSA allows vitamins in both carry-on and checked bags (no liquid limits since they're solid). Heat degradation is real though - above 86°F can affect potency and texture. For hiking/road trips, use a thermal container or store with chilled water bottles. Pro move: portion them into daily packs so you're not opening the main bottle in humidity. Stay consistent, travelers!
