Traveling with Biotin Gummies - Will They Melt / TSA OK?

Hey all, I'm heading on a cross-country road trip next week and want to bring my biotin gummies. I'm worried about them melting in the car (it's gonna be hot!) and also TSA rules if I fly any legs. Anyone have experience traveling with these? Should I pack them in a cooler or is it fine? Also, any tips for storing them on a hike? Thanks!

I'd be more worried about the gelatin in most gummies (not vegan friendly btw). But heat-wise, they can get soft and sticky if temps go above 80°F. If you're driving, keep them in a cooler with ice packs. For flying, TSA doesn't care about gummies as long as they're in reasonable quantities. I've taken my vegan biotin gummies on planes without issue. Just don't put them in checked luggage if it's hot down there. For hiking, I use a small insulated container.

I travel a lot for work and always bring my biotin gummies. In summer, they do get a bit soft but never fully melted unless left in direct sun. I keep them in my carry-on (TSA is fine) and they survive. Pro tip: if they do get soft, pop them in the fridge overnight and they harden back up. For hiking, I just toss them in a ziplock with a silica gel pack to avoid moisture.

I second what Uma said. I've flown with gummies multiple times. TSA might ask what they are, but I just say 'vitamins' and they wave me through. One time they tested them for explosives? Weird but still got through. Heat wise, I put them in a small lunchbox with an ice pack for road trips. For hikes, I use a silicone squeeze tube? But that might be overkill. Honestly, they're pretty tolerant.
