Hey everyone, been taking biotin gummies for about 3 weeks now (the berry blast ones from Nature's Way). My hair and nails do seem stronger, but I've noticed something odd - my dreams have gotten SUPER vivid, almost like watching a movie. Last night I dreamt I was a squirrel collecting acorns in a neon forest... it was wild! Has anyone else experienced this with biotin gummies? Is this normal or should I be concerned?

OMG YES! I've been on biotin gummies for 6 months (I take the organic vegan ones with 10,000 mcg). The vivid dreams are REAL! I actually started a dream journal because of it lol. Biotin supports nervous system function, so it makes sense it might affect sleep cycles. I'd say it's harmless - my naturopath said it's just your body adjusting to the B-vitamin complex. Try taking them in the morning if it bothers you!

Interesting! I haven't noticed dreams, but my taste buds went weird for the first week. My homemade tomato sauce tasted metallic?? I almost panicked thinking I ruined my recipe. Turns out it was the biotin! It went away after about 10 days. Maybe try switching brands? The gummy texture might affect absorption differently. I use the citrus ones now and no issues!

Med student here - biotin (vitamin B7) is water-soluble and generally safe. Vivid dreams aren't a documented side effect in clinical literature, but individual responses vary. Could be placebo or related to improved sleep quality from better nutrition. Bright urine IS common with B-vitamins though - that's just excess being excreted. Monitor if you develop rash or digestive issues, but dreams alone aren't concerning. Stay hydrated!
