Hey everyone, I started taking biotin gummies about 2 weeks ago for hair/nails. They taste great and seem fine, but I've noticed something weird - my urine has turned really bright yellow, almost neon! It's not painful or anything, just... startling. Has anyone else experienced this with biotin gummies? Should I be concerned?

Honestly, I'm not surprised. These gummy supplements are loaded with artificial colors and who-knows-what. My kids had orange poop from some vitamin gummies once - scared me half to death until I read the label. Check if yours have yellow dyes (like tartrazine). Probably harmless, but I'd switch to a clean brand without all the junk. As a mom, I'm skeptical of anything that changes bodily functions!

Totally normal!! Biotin is a B-vitamin (B7), and excess water-soluble vitamins often get excreted in urine, sometimes changing the color. The bright yellow is usually riboflavin (B2) that's commonly included in B-complex formulas. I've taken biotin gummies for years and get this occasionally - it just means your body is using what it needs and getting rid of the rest. Nothing to worry about! If you love the gummies, keep taking them. Maybe drink more water to dilute it if it bothers you :)

As a fitness pro, I see this often with clients taking B-vitamins. The bright urine is typically harmless - it's just your body excreting excess. However, I'd recommend checking the dosage. Some gummies have mega-doses (like 10,000% DV) which is unnecessary. Your body can only absorb so much. Consider switching to a whole-food based supplement or getting biotin from natural sources like eggs and nuts. And always hydrate well during workouts!
