Are gummy vitamins just candy in disguise?
I can't believe people actually buy those gummy vitamins. They're loaded with sugar and artificial crap. Just eat real food and take a plain capsule if you need supplements. This whole candy-fication thing is a joke.
I get your point, but some people really struggle swallowing pills. And not everyone has the time to prep whole foods all day. Plus, you can find gummies with no added sugar now. Let people choose what works for them.
I actually started with gummies because I hated pills. But then I read the label - 5g sugar per serving! Switched to a sugar-free brand ASAP. Not all gummies are created equal, but yeah, most are pretty suspect.
I think moderation is key. If a gummy helps me remember to take my vitamins and I'm not eating a ton of them, who cares if it has a little sugar? It's better than forgetting entirely and being deficient.
