Kris Jenner's creatine gummies? Thoughts?
Saw this article about Kris and Kourtney pushing their new creatine gummies. I mean, I get that celebs are all about wellness now, but creatine? For women? Is that a thing? I'm curious if anyone here has tried it or if it's just another fad.
Creatine is actually one of the most researched supplements out there, and it's not just for bodybuilders. It can help with muscle strength and recovery, and some studies show benefits for brain health too. But that said, I'd rather get it from powder form that I can mix myself - those gummies probably have a ton of sugar or artificial stuff to make them taste good. Plus, I'm a bit skeptic of celebrity endorsements, they're all about profit.
I'm with PlantPat on this. I've used creatine for years (in pill/powder form), and it's legit. But I'm always checking labels - gummies often sneak in carbs and sugar, which would kick me out of ketosis. Also, the price they probably charge for a 'premium' celebrity brand? No thanks, I'll stick to my plain old creatine monohydrate.
As a parent, I'm always looking for convenient ways to get my nutrients, but I'm a bit wary of jumping on any celebrity bandwagon. I tried one of those collagen gummies from a YouTuber and it was basically just sugar and gelatin. If they have clean ingredients and no weird additives, maybe. But I'd rather read reviews from real people first.
