Kris & Kourtney's Creatine Gummies? What do you think?
Okay, so I just saw the news about Kourtney and Kris launching a creatine supplement. I mean, I get the celeb appeal, but as a granola parent, I'm all about natural sources. Are these gummies actually beneficial or just a trend? My kids would eat them like candy, but I'm not sure if that's a good thing. Anyone else skeptical?
As a med student, I can tell you creatine is well-studied for muscle recovery and energy, but it's typically in powder form. Gummies might be convenient but watch out for added sugars and other fillers. Also, the Kardashians are masters of marketing - I'd wait for independent reviews and third-party testing before jumping on the bandwagon.
Paleo guy here. Creatine is naturally found in meat, so I'm not opposed to it, but I'd rather get it from whole foods. Plus, these gummies probably have weird ingredients like tapioca syrup and natural flavors. I'd say pass unless they come with a clean label and no junk. But hey, if it gets people moving, maybe not all bad?
Good point, Greg! I didn't think about the ingredient list. TeaTina, you're right about marketing. I guess I'll wait for the reviews to come in. Meanwhile, I'll stick to my homemade elderberry gummies! 😄
