Oral strips vs. capsules: Is this the end of pill popping?
I just read that Strippies is launching oral strips at Expo West. Honestly, I'm a bit skeptical. I love my gummies and capsules, but strips seem so... wasteful? all that plastic packaging? Plus, I wonder if the ingredients are as stable in strip form. Anyone else got thoughts?
I'm a chef, so I'm all about textures and flavors. Strips could be a cool way to get your vitamins without chewing or swallowing big pills. But I'd worry about the taste - some of those strips are nasty. And as a guy who likes cooking, I'm into the idea of a quick 'snackable' vitamin. But I'm not sure if it's gonna replace my gummies.
I'm all about convenience and taste. I've tried oral strips before (like breath strips) and they dissolve fast, which is cool. But for supplements, I'd be worried about the dosage accuracy and if they actually absorb well. Plus, I've seen some strip products that are packed with sugar or artificial flavors. Strippies might be different, but I'll take a 'wait and see' approach. I'll stick to my gummies for now.
Good point about taste and ingredients. I just hope they don't use palm oil or non-recyclable packaging. If they can make strips that are eco-friendly and effective, I might give them a try. But for now, I'm loyal to my capsule brand that uses glass bottles.
