THREAD: Weird side effect from my gummy vitamins - anyone else?Started by OP

Hey all, been taking these gummy multivitamins for about 2 weeks now (the ones with the cute bear shapes lol). Nothing major, but I've noticed my pee is like... neon yellow? Like highlighter bright. It's not painful or anything, just looks wild. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? Kinda freaking me out a bit ngl.

OP, that's 100% normal! It's usually from the B vitamins, especially B2 (riboflavin). Your body excretes the excess through urine. I see this all the time with clients - it means you're absorbing what you need and getting rid of the rest. Just make sure you're drinking enough water to stay hydrated. What brand are you taking? Some have higher B-vitamin doses than others.

VibeVitamins is right! But also check the ingredients list - some gummies use artificial colors that might contribute. I switched to sugar-free, dye-free ones last year and my urine went back to normal-ish yellow. The bright pee stopped, and I feel better knowing I'm not consuming unnecessary additives. Just a thought if you're concerned about additives!

lol yeah mine does that too! I take the cheap store brand gummies cuz I'm a broke student. The neon pee thing happened within like 3 days. I asked my bio prof and he said exactly what VibeVitamins did - it's just B vitamins. As long as you don't have pain or other symptoms, you're good. Save your money for textbooks, not doctor visits haha.

Interesting! I teach yoga and focus on holistic wellness, so I pay close attention to my body's signals. I experienced something similar when I first started taking a gummy vitamin blend. The bright urine lasted about a month before it normalized. It's likely your body adjusting. Stay mindful, drink plenty of water, and maybe try a gentle detox tea if you're feeling out of balance. Peace and health!
