Hey everyone! I've been taking these collagen gummies for about a month now for skin and joint health. I usually take them with my morning coffee. Is that okay? I read somewhere that caffeine might interfere with absorption, but I'm not sure if that's just a myth. Anyone have experience with this combo?

Hi there! As a holistic healer, I'd advise against combining collagen with coffee. Caffeine can create acidity in the body, which might reduce collagen's effectiveness. The body absorbs nutrients best in an alkaline state. Try taking your gummies with warm lemon water instead - it's much gentler and supports natural collagen production. Also, consider organic sources if you're not already!

LOL Ellen always with the lemon water! 😄 Actually, I've been taking collagen gummies with my coffee for 2 years and my skin has never been better! I did some research - the acidity thing is mostly overblown for gummies since they're already processed. The key is timing: take them 30 mins BEFORE coffee if you're worried. But honestly, consistency matters more than perfect timing. I stack mine with vitamin C gummies too for max absorption!

Minimalist perspective: Why complicate things? Take the gummies whenever you remember. I take mine with black coffee every morning. No issues. My joints feel fine. If you're really concerned, ask a doctor. But adding more routines (like lemon water timing) seems unnecessary to me.

omg i love this thread! i'm new to meditation and supplements but i tried collagen gummies last week. i was taking them with my matcha latte... is that better than coffee? 😅 also does anyone feel like they help with focus during meditation? maybe it's placebo but i swear my sessions feel clearer when i take them in the morning!
