Can I take my collagen gummies with my morning coffee? Safety check!
Hey folks, I'm new to collagen gummies (just got the berry flavored ones) and I'm wondering if it's cool to take them with my morning coffee. I'm a caffeine addict - I drink like 3 cups before 9am. Will the heat or acidity mess with the collagen? Or is this a bad combo? Thanks!
Great question Mike! I've been taking collagen gummies for 2 years now. From my research, coffee's acidity might slightly reduce absorption, but it's not dangerous. I'd recommend taking them 30 mins before or after coffee for optimal results. Also, make sure you're getting enough vitamin C with it - helps collagen synthesis! I take mine with a citrus gummy 😉
