Hey y'all! I'm a digital nomad and always on the go. I take my collagen gummies in the morning, but lately I've been wondering if I can just wash them down with my coffee. Anyone tried that? Is it still effective or does the heat mess with the collagen? Also thinking about adding a vitamin D gummy at the same time. Thoughts?

I'm a meditation rookie so I don't know much about science, but I've heard that heat can denature collagen? Like, hot coffee might break it down. I personally take my gummies with room-temp water during my morning mindfulness. Maybe stick to that? Also, combining with vitamin D should be fine, I take mine together.

As a concerned grandparent, I've read that collagen supplements are best absorbed on an empty stomach. Coffee could interfere with absorption? Also, vitamin D is fat-soluble so better with a meal. I'd space them out if I were you. Better safe than sorry, Daphne!

Oh honey, I remember when the only gummy was for kids' vitamins! Now they have collagen? Fascinating. I've been taking collagen gummies for my joints and I just pop 'em with my morning tea (not too hot). I've heard that as long as the drink isn't scalding, it's fine. And combining with other gummies? I do it all the time! Just don't overdo it on the sugar.

Thanks everyone! So sounds like lukewarm coffee is okay, but maybe take vitamin D with a meal. I'll try the gummies with my coffee and report back! 😄
