I'm new to collagen supplements and tried those gummies... but seriously, they're like candy! I feel like I'm eating sugar, not taking a supplement. Are there any real benefits or is it just a marketing gimmick? I'm thinking of switching to something else.

Girl, I feel you. I tried them once and the sugar content is off the charts. I make my own gummies at home using gelatin and fruit juice - you control the sugar, it's easy and way cheaper. Plus you know exactly what's in them. Try that if you want convenience without the junk.

Haha, but they taste so good though! I mean, I get it, but for me, the convenience wins. I take them post-workout and it's like a little treat. Plus, I've seen real benefits for my joints. But I also make sure I'm not eating them like candy - moderation, people!

Good points. @EcoEllen492, do you have a recipe you can share? I might try making my own. And @JoyfulJack340, I'm glad they work for you, but I'm just not sure about all that sugar. Maybe I'll do a mix - gummies for convenience, but also some powder for my smoothies.

Sure! Here's a simple one: mix 1 cup fruit juice, 1 tbsp gelatin, and 1-2 tbsp honey (or maple syrup) - heat gently to dissolve, pour into molds, chill for an hour. You can add collagen powder too. Adjust sweetness to your liking. You'll never go back to store-bought!
