Collagen Gummies - Love the Strawberry, HATE the Orange! What flavor should I try next?

Hey everyone, I need some advice! I've been taking collagen gummies for about a month now, mostly for skin and joint health (I'm a mom of two toddlers, so I need all the help I can get!). I absolutely LOVE the strawberry flavor - it's sweet but not too artificial tasting. But I tried the orange flavor last week and... yuck! It tastes like medicine to me. What's the consensus on the 'best' flavor? I need to reorder soon and don't want to waste money on another bad batch. Thanks!

lol i feel you on the orange! Tried it once and it was like chewing vitamin C tablets. I'm a caffeine addict (3-4 coffees a day minimum) so i need something that doesn't make me gag first thing in the morning. The mixed berry ones are pretty solid - not as good as strawberry imo but way better than orange. Have you checked if they make a tropical blend? Sometimes those are hit or miss but worth a shot.

Interesting flavor preferences! From a scientific perspective, the taste difference might be due to the specific flavoring compounds used. Orange flavors often contain limonene which can interact with collagen peptides differently than strawberry's methyl cinnamate. That said, I've conducted informal taste tests with my family (n=4) and we found the peach flavor to be most palatable overall. It masks the collagen's natural bitterness effectively without being overly sweet. Have you considered looking at the ingredient lists to compare artificial vs natural flavors?

As a busy professional who grabs these on the way out the door, I don't have time for bad flavors. Stick with strawberry if you know you like it! I made the mistake of trying 'exotic fruit mix' once and ended up throwing half the bottle away. Not worth the risk when you're already paying premium for collagen. Pro tip: some brands let you buy sample packs - might be worth ordering a few singles before committing to a full bottle.
