Hey all, heading on a cross-country flight soon and wanna bring my collagen gummies. Do these things melt in checked bags? TSA gonna hassle me? Also any tips for keeping them from getting smashed? Thanks!

I've travelled with collagen gummies a bunch. They don't really melt unless it's like 100°F+, so carry-on is fine. TSA doesn't care - they're gummies, not liquids. But I'd keep them in the original bottle to avoid questions. For storage, just don't leave them in a hot car. Pro tip: toss a silica gel pack in the bottle to absorb moisture if you're in a humid climate.

I second what Paula said. I took mine on a hiking trip last summer - kept them in a ziplock in my backpack and they were fine. Just don't squish them under heavy stuff. Also, if you're worried about melting, you could freeze them before you leave? They thaw fine but might stick together.

Thanks guys! Freeze them you say? Interesting. I'll try the silica pack trick. Do you think putting them in a small pill container would work? Or does the original bottle have to be labeled?

Pill container is fine, TSA doesn't check gummies. Just be aware they might get a little softer in a metal container if it's hot. Honestly, the original bottle is safer to avoid any 'is this a supplement?' questions. But I've used a generic container many times with no issues.
