Hey everyone! I'm looking to buy some collagen gummies as gifts. My mom is 65 and complains about joint pain and wrinkles, and my best friend is super into fitness and always talks about recovery. I want to get them a 'health pack' but not sure which brands are best. Any recommendations? Ideally something with good ingredients and not crazy expensive.

For your mom, look for gummies with hyaluronic acid and biotin alongside collagen – they help with skin hydration and hair/nails. For your fitness friend, go for a higher dose of collagen (like 2500mg) plus vitamin C to boost absorption. Brands like OLLY and Nature's Bounty have solid options. They're not super expensive and taste decent.

I'd add that for joint health specifically, you might want a product with type II collagen, not just type I. Also, check for added sugars – some gummies are loaded with them. My mom uses Vital Proteins' collagen gummies – they have 1g sugar and include vitamins A, C, E. For your friend, maybe a collagen+probiotic combo for gut health, since that helps recovery.

I've tried a bunch! For the fitness buff, I love the 'Sgummi' brand – they have 3000mg collagen and no artificial junk. But they're a bit pricey. A cheaper alternative is the Amazon Basics collagen gummies, but they have more sugar. For your mom, check out 'Beauty Gummies' from a brand called 'Zia Naturals' – they're organic and have 2000mg. Just make sure to read labels for allergen warnings.

Thanks everyone! Super helpful. I think I'll go with Vital Proteins for mom and maybe Sgummi for my friend – even if it's a bit more, he'll appreciate it. Appreciate the tips on type II collagen and checking sugars! :)
