Are we turning supplements into candy?

I just tried the new creatine gummies and while the taste is great, I'm worried about the sugar content. It's like we're turning supplements into candy. What happened to just taking a pill or powder?

Honestly, I get the convenience, but I did some research and these gummies can have 2-3 grams of sugar per serving. Plus, they often use artificial sweeteners or syrups that aren't great for you. If you're taking them daily, that adds up. I stick to powder, even if it's not as fun.

Not to mention the packaging waste! All those plastic containers and wrappers. I try to get supplements in recyclable or bulk packaging. Gummies are usually individual wrapped, which is terrible for the planet. Plus, for the environment, I prefer powders in a big tub.

I see your points, but I gotta admit, the gummies make it easier for me to remember to take them. I'm not a fan of the chalky powder mixed in water. But I'm reconsidering. Maybe I'll switch to the powder and just add a bit of honey to make it taste better.

That's a good compromise! You can also look for creatine powders that are unflavored and mix it into your favorite drink. That way you control the sweetness. Just remember to check the label for any added sugars or fillers.
