Help! My husband ate my creatine gummies like candy and now he's wired!

So my husband mistook my creatine gummies for regular fruit snacks and ate like 10 of them before I noticed. Now he's pacing around the house with crazy energy and keeps asking why his muscles feel 'tingly'. Anyone else had their spouse raid their stash? Should I be worried or just let him ride it out?

Haha, that's hilarious! The tingly feeling is probably just the creatine drawing water into his muscles. He'll be fine, maybe just a little bloated. I'd suggest drinking extra water to flush it out. Also, maybe hide your gummies better? My kid once ate half a bottle of magnesium gummies and had a very... relaxed afternoon. 😂

Omg my boyfriend did the exact same thing with my L-theanine gummies! He thought they were melatonin. He was super calm for like 2 hours and then crashed hard. Not fun when he fell asleep mid-convo. 😅 But yeah, creatine's pretty safe. Just make sure he drinks water and maybe don't let him drive lol.

This is why I only use unflavored powder. No mistaking that for candy! But honestly, it's a good reminder to keep supplements out of reach of kids AND partners. Creatine is generally safe in high doses short-term, but long-term it can be harsh on kidneys if he's not hydrated. Maybe use this as a chance to talk about supplement safety? Or just laugh it off and buy a lockbox. 🙃
