Hey everyone! I've been making my own creatine gummies at home using gelatin, but they keep coming out too chewy and hard. I want that soft, squishy texture like the store-bought ones. Should I use less gelatin or add more water? Also, any tips for mixing the creatine powder without it clumping? Thanks!

I don't know much about gummies, but I'm worried about the safety of making supplements at home. Are you sure you're measuring the creatine right? Too much could be harmful, especially for older folks like me. Maybe you should just buy them from a reputable brand. Just my two cents.

For a softer texture, reduce the gelatin by half and use more liquid. Also, heat the liquid first, then slowly whisk in the creatine powder to avoid clumps. I also add a little citric acid for taste and to help set. And if you're using agar, it's a different ballgame - you need to boil it. Hope that helps!

As a retired nurse, I echo EarthElias' concern. But if you've done your homework and are confident in your measurements, then go ahead. For gelatin, try blooming it in cold water first, then dissolve into warm liquid. That should give a smoother texture. Also, let them set in the fridge for at least 4 hours. Patience is key!
