So my 6-year-old just grabbed my jar of creatine gummies thinking they were gummy bears!! I caught him just in time, but he was so disappointed haha. Now he keeps asking for 'daddy's candy' and I'm worried he might sneak one when I'm not looking. Any advice on how to keep these out of reach? Also, does anyone else's kids do this or is it just mine?

LOL that's classic! My dog once ate a whole bottle of my magnesium gummies - didn't end well. Yeah, keep those in a high cabinet or a locked drawer. Kids are sneaky little ninjas. I put mine in a old vitamin bottle that says 'ADULT ONLY' in big letters. But seriously, make sure he knows these are not candy - maybe show him the bitter taste? Bitter is a good deterrent 😂

I mean, are creatine gummies even worth the hassle? Just mix powder in a shake. But I get the convenience. My nephew does the same with my pre-workout gummies, I had to hide them in my sock drawer. And he still found them once. The struggle is real.

From a medical perspective, a child eating a few creatine gummies isn't dangerous, but it's not ideal. Creatine is relatively safe, but it can cause stomach upset or diarrhea in high doses, and we don't know long-term effects in children. Best to store them out of sight and educate your kid. You can also child-proof locks for cabinets. And maybe get a gummy brand with a more 'medicine-like' appearance? Just a thought.

Thanks guys! I'll definitely get a lockable box and try to explain to him. @QuantumQuincy390, the bitter trick might work - he hates sour stuff. @ZestZack896, I switched to gummies because I hate the gritty texture of powder, lol. @DynamicDan167, good to know it's not a huge deal but I'll be careful. Appreciate the tips!
