Anyone else trying creatine gummies instead of powder? My experience so far...

Hey everyone! As a yoga instructor, I'm always looking for natural ways to boost energy and recovery without loading up on artificial stuff. I've been using creatine powder for years before my evening classes, but I recently saw these creatine gummies at the health store. Has anyone tried them? I'm skeptical about the sugar content and whether they're as effective as the powder. Would love to hear experiences before I spend $30 on a bottle!

Great thread! Biohacker here - I've been experimenting with creatine gummies for about 3 months now. The bioavailability is actually comparable to powder if you get a quality brand (look for Creapure® or similar). The advantage is convenience - no mixing, no chalky taste. I take 2 gummies post-workout (5g creatine equivalent) and have maintained my strength gains. Claire, check the labels - many use stevia or monk fruit instead of sugar. What's your current creatine protocol?

OMG I LOVE CREATINE GUMMIES!!! I've tried 4 different brands and they're game-changers! No more messy powder spills, and they taste like candy (but healthy candy!). My favorite are the orange-flavored ones from 'Vitality Boost' - they give me so much energy for my morning workouts. Steve is right about checking labels though - some brands sneak in maltitol which can upset your stomach. Anyone have bloating issues with certain brands?

Thanks for the feedback! Steve, I currently do 5g of micronized creatine monohydrate powder mixed in my morning smoothie. The convenience factor is tempting though - especially when I'm teaching back-to-back classes. GummyGuru, have you noticed any difference in water retention compared to powder? That's my main concern since I need to stay flexible for inversions. Also, are they actually portable or do they melt in your gym bag?

Claire - good questions. Water retention should be identical if the dosage is equivalent (creatine pulls water into muscles regardless of delivery method). For portability, most quality gummies hold up fine unless you leave them in a hot car. Pro tip: Store them with a silica gel packet. Has anyone done bloodwork comparing gummy vs powder absorption? I'm planning to test my creatine levels next month. Also, what's everyone paying per serving? My gummies come out to about $0.75/serving versus $0.40 for powder.

YogaClaire - I haven't noticed extra bloat! And they don't melt if you keep them in the container. The ones I use are individually wrapped too! Steve makes a good point about cost... they're definitely pricier but worth it for me because I actually remember to take them (I used to forget the powder). Has anyone found a brand that combines creatine with other nootropics? Saw some with added L-theanine but reviews were mixed...
