Are gummy vitamins just candy in disguise?
I can't believe how much sugar is in these 'healthy' gummy elderberries. My kids love them but I feel like I'm giving them candy. Why can't we just have pure supplements without all the junk? #overit
I mean, yeah they have sugar but they're way easier to take than pills. If I had to choke down a horse pill every day I'd probably skip it. Plus the sugar is usually organic or from fruit juice. Not that big a deal for me.
I get the convenience argument but as a mom I worry about the long-term effects. My daughter begs for them like candy and I'm not sure if the immune boost is worth the sugar rush. Anyone tried the no-sugar versions?
I've tried sugar-free ones and they taste terrible. But honestly, I'd rather have a bad taste than feed my kids hidden sugar. There has to be a better way!
Fair point. I just think for adults it's fine. My fitness app says I burn enough calories anyway lol. But for kids I'd probably look into the sugar-free ones or maybe mix them into yogurt to mask the taste.
