Elderberry gummies with my morning coffee? Safe or stupid?

Hey all, so I just started taking these Elderberry gummies (the brand is Nature's Way) for immune support. But I'm also a huge coffee drinker - like 3-4 cups before noon. Anyone know if it's safe to take the gummy WITH my coffee? Or should I space them out? Don't want to waste the elderberry or mess with the caffeine kick.

Honestly, I think you're fine. Elderberry isn't known to interact with caffeine. I take my elderberry gummy with green tea every morning and haven't had issues. Just don't take it with grapefruit juice if you're on meds, but that's random lol. Maybe wait 30 mins after coffee if you're worried? That's what I do with my turmeric.

I've been taking elderberry gummies for like 2 years now and I down them with my black coffee every single day. No issues. Elderberry is pretty mild. The only thing I'd watch out is if you're taking other immune boosters like zinc or echinacea - might be overkill. But coffee? You're good.

Thanks guys! I'll just take 'em together then. Appreciate the quick replies. KaleKen - good call on the grapefruit, I don't eat that anyway haha. Alpha - glad to hear a long-term perspective. Cheers!
