Elderberry on sale at Costco - too good to be true?
So I was at Costco today and saw a huge bottle of elderberry gummies on sale for like $12.99. Usually these are $20+. Is it a steal or are they cutting corners with quality? I'm tempted to buy a bunch but don't want to waste money on junk.
Hey! I've been using elderberry for years in my yoga practice to boost immunity. My rule: check the label for added sugar and artificial stuff. If it's clean, price doesn't matter. Costco often gets good bulk deals, so $12.99 could be legit. Just read the ingredient list!
Price ≠ quality, but sometimes cheaper means less extract or more fillers. Look for standardized elderberry extract (like 4:1) and no unnecessary additives. If it's from a reputable brand, sale is just a sale. I'd grab it if it's from Nature's Way or similar. Check the back for 'standardized'.
OMG I got the same deal last week! 🍇 It's a total steal - the brand is Garden of Life, and they're known for quality. I've been taking them daily and feel great. Just make sure you store them in a cool place so they don't melt. Grab them before they're gone!
Thanks guys! I checked the label - it says 'standardized elderberry extract' and no artificial colors. I'll get two bottles. 😄
