Just saw this article about Kai Trump's Erewhon shopping spree. I mean, $100+ for a smoothie? What are your thoughts on this wellness craze, especially with elderberry gummies being a thing? Seems like a lot of money for stuff that might not even work.

Honestly, Erewhon is a total rip-off. I could get the same ingredients for a fraction of the price and make my own smoothie. But I get it, people like the hype. As for elderberry, I'm more into adaptogens and nootropics for focus. But to each their own.

I wish I had that kind of money to spend on groceries. As a sleep-deprived parent, I just grab whatever is on sale. I do use elderberry gummies for my kids to boost their immunity, but I get them at Costco. Works fine, no need for the fancy stuff.

From a medical perspective, elderberry has some evidence for immune support, but the evidence is mixed. And the placebo effect is real. Spending that much on a smoothie is more about status than health. If you want to boost your immune system, just eat a balanced diet and get enough sleep.
