Hey everyone! I'm looking to put together a little health pack as a gift - either for my mom who's in her 70s or my friend who's super into fitness and clean eating. I want to include some elderberry gummies since I've heard they're great for immunity. Any recommendations for specific brands? Looking for something that's actually effective, not just candy. Thanks!

Ooh I love this idea! For your mom, I'd recommend Nature's Way Sambucus gummies - they're gentle on sensitive systems and have zinc added which is great for elders. For your fitness friend, maybe something with less sugar? I've heard good things about Gaia Herbs elderberry gummies, they use organic ingredients. Remember to check for added fillers though - some brands sneak in junk!

Make sure whatever you get is vegan!! So many gummies have gelatin from animals. I like the MaryRuth's brand - completely plant-based and they actually work. My partner takes them during cold season and swears by them. Also check if they're ethically sourced - elderberry harvesting can be problematic if not done sustainably.

Good point from FuelFrank! Yes, MaryRuth's is excellent. Also consider if you want just elderberry or a blend - some combine with echinacea or vitamin C which could be nice for a gift pack. For your fitness friend, maybe pair with some adaptogen gummies too? Just a thought!
